Historical overview

The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. Since it appears on Russian topographic map of 1889 it can be assumed that the cemetery already existed in the late 19th century. The only preserved matseva found also relates to this period. The cemetery was not marked on the later maps of 1939. According to locals it was destroyed during the Soviet era.
